Is ITSMI a Professional Business School?

ITSMI is a private accredited Business School founded in 2011 that offers programs in Business and Management related areas in French and English at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate levels. ITSMI also offers short term programs and transnational study options.

Is ITSMI an accredited tertiary university?

ITSMI is fully recognized at both domestic and international level. Please refer to our page on accreditations for further details.

Where is the institution located?

ITSMI is at 97 Rue Mademoiselle, 75015 Paris, France.

Do I need to be proficient in French to enrol there?

No, all our courses are taught in English and some courses are also available in French. We recommend every student to learn the basics of French while at ITSMI.

When is the academic intake?

Fall sessions start in September while the spring session commences in February.

What are the tuition fees?

Fee depends upon the course of your choice. Please refer to our page on Tuition Fees.

What are the tuition fee payment options?

Tuition fee can be paid in the following ways:

  • First Option: Pay in full upon confirmed admission
  • Second Option: Make 50% down payment (confirmed admission) + remaining tuition fee after you attain the visa.
What is the refund policy?

In case a person takes admission and with a valid reason to prove their ability to discontinue, the tuition fees will be returned. An administrative charge of 250 Euro will be deducted.

What are the admission requirements for a Degree admission to ITSMI?

Depending on which level (Undergraduate/Postgraduate/Executive) you would like to join, fill the application form and provide the required certificates. Check our admission page for further details.

How do I apply for courses in ITSMI?

There are two ways for that:

Once we have received a completed application, candidates will be contacted for an interview with the Dean of their chosen program. This interview will be conducted in English on campus in Paris or via telephone/Skype for international students.

Can I get credit/advanced standing for my previous studies?

Yes, you may be given credit for subjects completed and passed at other recognized higher education institutions or for a different course at ITSMI if the course content is similar and of value.

How do I apply for credit/advanced standing for my previous studies?

You will do that while applying for the degree at ITSMI.

When is the last date for application?

There is no apparent deadline. It is better to apply soon since there are a limited number of seats. International students may apply fast as the Visa application can take time.

When will I be notified about the admission?

If selected for admission, you will be informed two weeks after your interview with the Dean of your department via e-mail.

What documents should I submit for the application to BBA programme?
  • CV/Resume
  • Copy of Passport
  • Passport size photo in Jpeg format
  • IELTS/TOEFL accepted score (If not available, can be submitted after the receipt)
  • Motivation letter
  • Recommendation letter from a professor
  • High School Diploma certificate and other transcripts ( If not with you at present, submit it after admission)
  • 90 Euro application fee

Transfer students (including IB candidates) must also submit:

  • Transcripts for all university studies completed
  • A list of courses currently being studied and pending results
What documents should I submit for the application to MSc/MBA programme?
  • Copy of Passport
  • Passport size photo in Jpeg format
  • IELTS/TOFEL accepted score (If not available, can be submitted after the receipt)
  • Motivation letter
  • 2 Reference letters (Professional /Academic)

Do I need GMAT or GRE to apply for the MSc or MBA programs?

No, our institution does not require it.

What should I include in the Application Motivation Letter?

The motivation letter should reveal to us about your capabilities as to why you should be accepted here. It is a golden opportunity to convey your unique self and state your distinctive characteristics.

These questions may give you an idea about what you need:
  • What are your career objectives? In what specific ways would studying at ITSMI help you to fulfil these objectives?
  • Explain how your study plan fits in with your previous training and career objectives
  • What are your strengths? How can you improve your skills?
  • Describe your extracurricular activities
  • Describe a situation in which you failed and what did you learn from it
  • Any additional information that will aid you gain admission here

Are scholarships available for students of merit?

Yes, it is given to deserving students who excel in academics and extracurricular activities.

  • Undergraduate Program: Merit Scholarship can run up to € 1,000.
  • Postgraduate Programs: Merit Scholarship can run up to € 2,000
How do I apply for the ITMSI Merit Scholarship?

Candidates must send a Scholarship Request Letter to the Admissions Office along with their application, stating the reasons why they deserve to be awarded such scholarship (1-page maximum).

How do I register?

After receiving your admission letter, you will need to complete the registration form and send a down payment of your tuition fee to register and secure a seat in the program.

Life in Paris

Do I need a student visa to study in France?

Students from non-European countries must apply for a student visa at the French Consulate or Embassy in their home country or country of residence.

How do I apply for a student visa?

Upon registration, ITSMI provides students with a letter of enrolment (entitled ‘Attestation d’inscription’ in French). This enrolment letter is the document required for visa application. We will support you in the visa application by advising how and where to apply for his visa.

What are the estimated living expenses in Paris?

Cost of living in Paris is similar to major western capital cities yet more affordable than London, NYC or Singapore. For more details about the cost of living in Paris visit our dedicated page.

Can I work while studying?

International students in France on a student visa can legally work a maximum of 964 hours per year (about 20 hours per week). Please bear in mind that to succeed in your studies you will need to spend a large amount of time studying. Do not expect part-time work to cover all of your living expenses, but mostly as a way to get extra spending money.

Does ITSMI provide on-campus accommodation?

It is a city campus that does not own on-campus accommodation. However our partners will help you. Please refer respective page.

Will I be able to learn French?

Oui! French language courses are delivered at beginner and intermediate levels and can be taken as an elective or an extra-curricular course during your studies. You will also have the opportunity to join one of ITSMI student clubs during your stay and be part of all organized activities.
